WEBJan 13, 2016 · Couple of lures come to mind from the last few seasons as well as this year. Spoons such as Tinglers, Tumblers and Slender Spoons in colors Red, Gold, Orange and Chartreuse have worked well. Tipping them with minnow heads or red spikes works well.

WEBDec 9, 2020 · Keeps a nice load to keep fish hooked up and transitions into a really nice backbone especially on longer rods. I built mine to 36. Their Walleye Sweetheart is fairly stout and many would consider that M to MH. The Bass Khang walleye blank actually has some similar properties too, though it’s a bit different.

WEBDec 30, 2014 · All of my walleye sticks have a #1 snap tied on them. I use a dual snap or a fast snap when fishing raps or spoons. The swivel is tied a few feet above. I almost always use a snap on my jigging stick for walleye, but rarely use a swivel. The only time i tie direct is when a specific lure tangles too frequently AND it is producing well.

I have the exact same setup and use 5lb Suffix Invisiline or 5lb Berkley Professional Grade Flourocarbon. 6# Sufix Advance is pretty awesome stuff. 5 or 6 # floroclear is another option. 6# Sufix Advance is pretty awesome stuff.
