WEBAug 26, 2020 · I'm on record as an advocate of Sufix 832 braid, but feel obligated to elaborate. In breaking strengths below 20-lb, Sufix 832 sports larger diameters than Power Pro Spectra. Not sure why, but it's probably due to its central strand of Goretex, which allegedly neutralizes the buoyancy of polyethylene braid. Roger.

Strong, somewhat quiet, casts very well and durable for its dia. Definitely choose it over seaguar brands in that strength. Tighter weave than super8slick.

Had I ever read anything about this line before I doubt I would have bought it. Found a few good reviews, but most knocked it. Of course some are hard to believe.
