Early especially of you are driving as the car parks fill up as well and you will enjoy a walk. Pre purchase your tickets will help. Also not sure if you want to see everything. We skipped the Australian animals as we have a great hands on facility where we live in Townsville. The only queues (quite short actually) we had were at lemurs and butterflies. We enjoyed the elephant show and the feeding giraffes. Hope that helps
