Q:
Thanks to everyone who answered my question about the Abbey renovations. Unfortunately, my friend has MS and is unable to walk up 199 steps and through the graveyard. Is it still possible to drive up, if yes is there anywhere to park with a blue disabled badge, if not is it possible to drop her off and pick her up later?
A:
Yes there is access for cars up to the Abbey and the adjacent StMary’s church where there is a good sized car park with disabled car parking spaces available.
