GREENWOOD DIST. The two candidates vying for the position of Tulsa’s 41st mayor, State Representative Monroe Nichols, 41, and County Commissioner Karen Keith, 70, will meet for their first runoff debate this evening.

For Monroe Nichols and Karen Keith, the road to the Tulsa mayor's office runs through Brent VanNorman territory. On Thursday, they sallied forth. Nichols and Keith finished just ahead of VanNorman in the first round of mayoral voting on Aug. 27 and claimed the two spots in the Nov. 5 runoff.

Monroe Nichols, a Democratic representative for Oklahoma House District 72, is vying for the mayor's seat. Karen Keith, also a Democrat, is the Tulsa County Commissioner for District 2. Her jurisdiction includes Sand Springs,
