Stew Leonard's is recalling dozens of Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread loaves that were sold at its Danbury location in Connecticut.

Stew Leonard’s announced today a voluntary recall of its Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread, saying it may contain undeclared walnuts.

Stew Leonard’s is issuing a recall for Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread that was sold at the Danbury store because it might contain walnuts, which were not on the label.  The company said the recall was initiated after a customer discovered that a loaf of Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread had walnuts in it,

The grocery chain Stew Leonard's is recalling dozens of chocolate chunk banana bread loaves sold at its Danbury, Connecticut location because they may contain undeclared walnuts.

The Danbury store was the only location that sold units of the product between Sept. 26-Oct. 2, the spokesperson said. Thirty-nine units were sold.
