Final Fantasy 16 has been suffering from some unexpected bugs on the PS5 this past week, and it’s beginning to look like the system’s recent firmware update is to blame. Sony has released PS5 system update 24.06-10.01.00 that should fix the graphical and crashing issues affecting some games.

As system architect Mark Cerny promised, the PS5 Pro solves these issues, offering a smooth frame rate with image quality on par with – and, in some instances, better than – the base PS5 version’s graphics mode.

On September 17, the previously PS5-exclusive RPG Final Fantasy 16 finally arrives on PC. Of course, that means that people will start to mod the game, adding or tweaking content. But if you are one of those modders, please know that the game’s producer doesn’t want any naughty stuff, okay?
