Mattel is introducing its first Diwali Barbie doll, which the company says is being released as part of its “commitment to promoting celebrations of heritage.” The doll, unveiled on Friday, is a collaboration with Indian fashion designer Anita Dongre.

The special Barbie Diwali doll has been dressed by Indian designer Anita Dongre, who has previously made outfits for Beyoncé and Kate Middleton, to name a few.

The doll will feature traditional Indian elements, including a cropped top, or choli; a floral vest known as a koti; and a patterned, ankle-length skirt called a lehenga.
