The racketeering trial against Young Thug has slogged into its 140th day, and while not much of note has happened for the past 9 months since the last update, in the past month or so, there have been enough updates to fill a new primer. So, here’s everything that’s happened so far in the trial.

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Young Thug and YSL trial resumed in Fulton County on Monday after being delayed due to Hurricane Helene. During the proceedings, Young Thug's defense team once again filed a motion for a mistrial due to a dispute over hearsay evidence presented by Chief Deputy District Attorney Adrianne Love.

The trial involving rapper Young Thug and the alleged YSL street gang continues Wednesday evidence and testimony. Law enforcement officers and others are due up on the witness stand as they continue to examine the January 2015 murder of Donovan Thomas.

Judge Paige Whitaker denied a motion for a mistrial despite her tense exchange with the prosecution during Young Thug and YSL's ongoing trial. During a hearing held on Monday, September 30, Judge Whitaker heard a motion for a mistrial from the defense after prosecutor Adriane Love allegedly misrepresented a social media post she was trying to enter as evidence.
