The Cherokee Nation has published official, updated demographic maps reflecting the growing diversity among the tribe’s more than 460,000 citizens and where they live across the country.

The tribe said this is the first time in more than a decade that the citizenship maps have been updated and shared with the public. There is also an interactive map to see where the Cherokee Nation's boundaries are located.

Oklahoma remains home to the highest number of Cherokee citizens, with over 283,000 residing there, according to the tribe’s analysis.
