Tesla has delayed the unveiling of its autonomous ‘Cybercab’ taxi from August to October, Bloomberg has reported. The covers were originally due to be lifted on the new car, developed specifically for ride-hailing, on 8 August.

Tesla has delayed its robotaxi launch by another two months, to allow the project teams to build more prototypes, according to insiders. Tesla has yet to officially comment to the media reports.

Tesla Inc. has rescheduled its robotaxi unveiling for Oct. 10, two months later than originally planned, to incorporate design changes requested by Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk.
